Hey that 270 had me confused also. My truck had a 240 in it when I bought it, and I have a friend with a 300. I had never heard of a 270. Probably a typo cause old Mil1ion is pretty smart on these old trucks.
Mike
Stroke a 302 to 347, it'll run circles around a 300 plus better mileage. A purpose built 390 whould be better yet as a F 250 isn't light even empty.
Fuel is cheap, getting run off the road and holding up traffic, priceless.
.....=o&o>.....
Sorry, must clarify, I live in the S.F. bay area were everyones in a big hurry to go somewhere, from bad traffic at 6 mph for an hour to idiots that pass when your at 105 mph. Love it when people think a 68 PU is some ranch pos, then you blow their plastic away. Life begins above 120 mph, got the power to play?

I figured as much on the typo, Mil1ion must eat and sleep and dream these old trucks For a second there I was thinking of an old hopped up inline car motor.
