Swap an axle
I was wondering what all is involved with converting my TTB
front end on my 89' f250 to a solid axle? any if all drilling or
is it as simple as shoving a f350 axle and rebolting it up to the springs, and does the shaft line up right and tie rods.
Could it be or am i dreamin on this project??

It's not too bad of a swap from what I've read. You do need to lift the truck in order to keep the axle from hitting the crossmember. Besides that, you'll just want the steering arms and trac bar brackets from the donor truck and you should be all set for a pretty straight forward swap.. If you search around on here you'll probably find a few posts with more information than I have.
