compass/mpg broke

compass/mpg broke
My compass/mpg thing quit workin this morn on the way home from work it appears like it has no power. I checked the fuses under the dash and they are all good anybody have suggestion what it could be?

This may sound pretty dumb, but did you guys check a to make sure you're dimmer control for you're dash lights is not turned all the way down? I have hit mine with my knee and woundered why the H my console was not working.
Of course, this is only the case if you're headlights are on.

deberrypatch i have not got it repaired its over $200 at ford for the new control head. You have to buy the entire console.
Mine has a burnt spot on the readout when you take it out.
michaelmueller the dash lights are bright the only thing that don't work is the read out for the compass/mpg
