Has anyone towed a trailer while using a superchips micro tuner? If so did you notice better acceleration uphills or any other feedback? I have a 2001 5.4 EB 4WD w/tow package and 3.55 gears. I tow a 6500# (wet) travel trailer. Thanks Mike

Reason: more info
You might want to search at www.rv.net under Tow Vehicles to see if anyone has tried chipping their Expi. I recall reading you would be better off putting money into 4.10 gears front and rear!
I got the same set-up: old trailer was 5K wet, but just got a new trailer about 6.5K wet. Performance is non-existent.
I was thinking of going whole-hog on chip/intake/exhaust, but I don't want to go up on the octane and I don't want the muscle car sound (I get enough noise from the kids, thank you...). Be sure to post your solution!
