Max1775- You didn't say how big your propane tank is, nor how many miles you actually drove to empty it, but I'd venture a guess that you've got a lot of propane flowing. I have a tank that holds 8 gallons of liquid propane, and it typically lasts me 2000-2500 miles in everyday driving.
You hit the nail on the head with both. A regular chip advances the timing past stock for power, not necessary with propane and will actually cause higher EGT's and a loss in fuel mileage. I'm running a 18 gallon tank that is averaging 1500 miles per fill up, or about 80 miles per gallon.

on edit, is it a variable feed, or on/off. and is it all vapor, or liquid to the engine bay, vapor after that??? or are you not allowed to coment on it yet for testing reasons???

Diesel Rod
Haven't tried the PS2k kit, but they work well from what I hear.

We're trying several different pressure settings on swithches. I like the nice constant power, instead of having it kick in like nitrous boost. I've tried 7 psi boost to start fueling and it feels like throwing the nitrous on a gas burner. Right now we're running without a pressure switch at all and it works great, but may be wasting some propane. Gonna have to check the exhaust and see, just haven't had a chance.

Variable feed, as the intake sucks more air, the valve releases more propane. Using a valve set at -1/2 inches water column. So the valve will not feed until intake goes below -1/2" w.c. Trying two regulators, one is vapor/ vapor and the other is liquid/vapor. I'm having better luck with the liquid converter supplying constant power, but still testing.
