coolant additives
is anyone running caterpillaer extended life coolant? I came across a web site that said it is formulated for engines with cavatation problems. they claimed that no additives were needed and it was good for 300,000 miles. Cost is about $6 per gallon and I think it is pre-diluted.

One point to remember if you lock yourself into a fancy antifreeze if you blow a hose etc then you need to hunt up the same type as mixing is not usually permitted.
I always recommend standard green and SCA's due to availability almost anywhere on a sunday..........
