Once again, repeat after me..."dealers only get incentive information for their own region- we're clueless as to what goes on in other regions." And, as Jeff mentioned, the rebates stay with your area of residence, not where you took delivery. If you follow this link you can see what rebates are in your area.

************************************************** *******************************
And, for the Bowtie Crowd (you know who you are ), effective 6/1/05-7/5/05

Chevy*
Aveo...........$500
Cavalier.......$2000 (exc. 1SV Value Pkg)
Cobalt.........$500 (excludes SS)
Malibu.........$2000

Tahoe.........$3000
Suburban.....$3000
Venture.......$3000
Uplander......$1000
Astro...........$2000
Express........$1000

And an extraordinary offer- GM is offering GM employee pricing (equivalent to Ford's "A" plan) to everyone, in addition to the rebates offered above, on all Chevy models except Corvette. In addition, we will honor our FTE buyers agreement and sell for GMS less $200 (if it's a Tahoe or Suburban, PM me- FTE pricing would be quite a bit less than that).

As with Ford, the rebates stay with your area of residence, not where you took delivery. If you follow this link you can see what rebates are in your area.

So when someone pulls up a truck on the chevy website and finds a truck at a local dealer is the "GM employee price" that shows include or not include the rebates?

Thanks so much.

It should pull up the price after rebates. I just pulled one of ours, and that was the case. then pm me what you're looking at- the FTE connection might still pay off.

So, what were the rebates for GM in May? Quite a bit higher, right? I mean look at Explorer's $5000 (now $6000 in my neck of the woods) vs. Trailblazer's $2500, or Expedition's $5000 vs. Tahoe's $3000. The "Employee Pricing for Everyone" may sound like a heck of a deal, but it's the bottom line that counts, folks. Explorer invoice less $200 less $6000 rebate has got to be cheaper than Trailblazer employee price less $2500.

I guess it depends on what models you're looking at. I found that I can get a GM diesel for the price of an x-plan Ford Gasser right now because of the GMS pricing. With GMS and the rebates it's 10k off (or a bit more in some cases) MSRP now.....that's a temptation.

Yesterday I had a chevy dealership practically try to give me a duramax. They offered me PP blue book for my Dodge without even seening it. I've declined and decided I'd rather pay more for a Ford than go with a GM (just me on this particular buy). I drove a V10, PSD, and Duramax all on the same stretch of road now. They all pulled the grade I tested on about as equal as you could get (no load of course). The GM is just too car-like and part of the reason we're getting a new truck is to get more space; as you guys know the SDs are in a league of their own as far as interior space is concerned.
