1) New main seal
2) Replaced dry idler and serpentine belt
3) New EBP sensor - '05
4) New EGR. Mine fell off at 2,000 miles along with the throttle plate. He said mine was caked with crud. Also said tube was full of crud. Put in updated '05 egr?
5) New Flash
When talking with the diesel tech, I asked him if maybe I should just unplug the egr. (I still can't figure out how it got caked up without being plugged in!) He obviously said he couldn't recommend that, but did go on to say that he wouldn't do it anyway. He basically said the truck would not perform that well, turbo boost would be way down, etc. He said the new flash had some very good direction towards egr issues and addressed coking, etc., especially at idle.
We'll see. After reading all the egr stuff and seeing my mileage go down over 3 mpg after it fell off, I think I am just gonna leave it on.
