Charging battery

Is it ok to charge the battery without disconnecting it from the car?

Yes, it is OK to do that. However, regardless of where you charge the battery, remember to wear eye goggle, and I don't mean the cheap kind. I have had batteries explode for no reason, and the Sulfuric acid is really nasty stuff. It'll blind you for sure.

Last time it happened while my Aerostar was parked on the driveway, and all my wife did was trying to crank the engine. There was no sign that the battery was going bad, it just exploded under the hood and sprayed acid everywhere. Since then, I've always treated these things with tons of respect and megatons of caution.

Sweet, I was worried that the charger could someone damage the electronics or blow some fuses in the car. The charger normally starts charging at 2-3 amps.
