The Red Cross and Amazon.com

As many of you probably know, going to Amazon.com's home page brings up a direct link to ARC's (American Red Cross) Honor System Donation page. I've been monitoring it since the post-eve of the tragedy when it was only $250,000. Tonight I checked and it is almost $4 million.

If you would like to make a monetary donation, please visit www.amazon.com and make one. Since my volunteer request to travel to NYC and relieve my fellow EMS and fire rescue workers was denied, even the smallest contributions (my $10) will help.

I got paid yesterday and I donated that paycheck to the New York chapter this morning. There are quite a few donation drives going on here locally and I am proud of turnout Coloradoans' are showing.
