I ahve a 1988 ford f150 4x4 with the 5.0.
When i put it in gear it tries to stall out but it only does it when it dead cold if its been wormed up it dosent do this. If you give it gas so it dosent satll it id completely fine afterwards. I believe that it has the original fuel filter but it hasnt been replaced since i owned the truck(dads old work truck). I has a new distributer and cap but need a air filter, wires and plgs but havent had the time to do these. Any suggestions. Also i was giving a 6 inch superlifyt lift kit for a 2003 f350 turbo diesel. Will the rear leafs fit onto my truck my leafs are extremly warn out. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Not trying to be a smart alec but I think you answered your own question. It sounds as though you need a complete tune up, plugs, filters and PCV valve would not hurt anything at all. I do not know about the springs..Hope this post helps you some.
