I have a 2004 F-250 Super cab (extended cab). I want to install two amps, an Alpine MRV-F545 and a MRD-M1005. The problem is, I have the Brain for the IVA-D300 and the TUA-T202XM installed under the passenger seat and NVE-N852A Navigation Unit installed under the middle seat. If I can find a clean, clean be the key word here, place to install all the components, and they fit, I will be willing to relocate anyone of them to make it work. Does anyone have any suggestions?
have you thought about putting the amps under the rear seat? haven't done an install in the newer ones but in my 99 f-150 supercab i could easily fit 3 amps under my rear seat.
Check my gallery under misc. pics. I have a couple pics of how I mounted my amp on my ext. cab. Had to cut the seat frame a bit but didn't compromise the integrity of it.
I have some pics in my gallery that shows what I was talking about. I mounted it behind the back seat up against the back wall. Some of the seat frame had to be cut out but it didn't interrupt the structural integrity of the seat and doesn't overheat at all (it's been through some Arizona summers if that says anything). All you have to do to remove the back seat is lift up on it (at least that's how my '00 seat is).
