whoo hoo another E4OD question
anybody know these pretty good? so i drive a good 60 miles away from home the other day and almost in the parking lot hear a noise so when i park look under the truck and awsome. Tranny fluid stream out of the bellhousing. Moms psd dually was just down the street so we towed it to goodyear they check it and say nothings wrong......WTH!! hows a tranny get rid of the fluid and its fine. Me and my freinds are wondering if possibly a pressure relife valve and i just over heated it from all the stop and go traffic and it just blew its loa...well emptied its self.

What kind of sound did you hear when you stopped? If the tranny shifts fine and the fluid checks level then I wouldn't worry about it much. If it doesn't see much heavy driving then it will never blow out the excess fluid until it does. That's probably what happened.
