351W efi blown up
As a new member I hope I am posting this in the right place. Last Sunday while driving I started to get a Rattle in the engine which ended up becoming terminal. Either a thrown rod or broken valve, but whatever it is, it has caused a break in the water jacket. What I am now considering is, if it is possible to fit a pre-efi 351 to the Mazda 5 speed box that is in my 92 F150. This box has the bell housing as a single casting with the box, so it can not be altered. Do all the 351W have the same mounting holes for engine and box, or is the efi unique? There is a crank available on ebay here in OZ for a 378 stroker, would this be able to be used with stock pistons and rods? Also I have seen people advertising 2V and 4V heads can someone advise what is the differnece between these 2 and which would be better to use? By the way I am taking the truck off duell fuel and going for straight LPG. Thanks in advance to those able to help me.
