I have a '97 F150 4x4 and I decided to modify it. I want to put on a 97-98 Lightning style bumper similar to a real Lightning's bumper, but for the years mentioned above.
The problem I have is the towhooks on the front. Will I have to remove them to make the bumper fit or am I better off leaving my stock bumper on?
Are you wanting to replace the entire bumper or just the bumper cover? I believe if you are just wanting the bumper cover (for the look) you should be able to use it. The only issue I see would be the tow hooks. You may have to remove them or cut a hole in the bumper cover for them to be used. Good luck with your modifications. You have only just begun.
