Remove chrome piece from mirrors?
I painted my grill and headlight trim on my 93 Flareside, because chrome was all faded. I would like to paint the chrome piece on my side view mirrors. Does anyone know how to remove this piece. Does it just pop on, or do you have to remove the mirror glass to remove the trim piece.

I duno how it comes off, but why not paint it while its on the vehicle? Just use some masking tape and trash bag to cover the adjacent areas. I hope you're prepping it well, it's hard to get paint to stick well on those areas.
