85 emissions problems

85 emissions problems
I just got an 85 F150. 300 inline 6. The gut riped off most of the emissions. Where does the air pump go to? It looks like a bypass valve, but then where. Also there is a metal tube welded in the exhaust that goes to the egr. Is that right? Ive tried reading the manuals but I suck with the diagrams. Please Help!

Do you need to pass emmissions? Or, are you just trying to tune up?
The EGR tube (approx. 3/4" dia) runs from the exhaust manifold to the EGR valve.
The air pump hose runs up to the inlet of the bypass valve as you thought.
Then it depends on some model specifics. Do you have a Haynes Repair manual?

Yea, I gotta pass emissions, but I think I got it figured out. The guy ripped off the air pump and the bypass valve and ran the hose from the egr straight into the exhaust. I figured out the diagrams and Im getting the new parts tomorrow. Thanks for your help
