Bad Trip: Need Help-6.0l SD
MY 6.0 l SD pulled my 5ver sluggish this weekend for the first time. At the start, the truck missed and fluttered for about the first 5miles and then stopped. Made it to our destination. On the way back it was running smooth for about 60 miles. Stopped to get something to eat and then headed on the road again and the truck blew black smoke all the way with missing/fluttering sounds for about 40 miles. Any one have suggestions? I am going take it into the dealer ship tomorrow and want some direction. Your help is greatly appreciated. I enjoy my truck. It only has 23k miles on it.

Problem solved: hopefully
Got my truck back. According to the dealer ship they found nothing wrong but they did load the new program from ford for the PCM. I will find out next week if they fixed it. I will be on another 5ver trip
