Computer Codes
Hooked up to the Excursion's compter yesterday and it gave me the code P1000. Does any one know what the code is or where I can get a list of the codes? I just bought this 2001 V-10 2WD with 75,000 miles.

P1000 - Monitors Incomplete
After clearing DTCs, or a battery disconnect, for a few journeys the DTC P1000 is often found. This is a notification that not all of the Monitors have been completed since they were cleared and is not a fault condition. Once all of the OBD Monitors have been completed the DTC P1000 is cleared from memory.

Known issue with the '01 V10's. If this is a 50 state vehicle, meaning not California, that P1000 may never clear. I have 40K on mine and have never disconnected the battery and P1000 is still present. Doesn't really matter as it will never set the MIL or cause any drivability issues.
