another gas tank question
hey yall, seems i am havin some problems with a 95 ford half ton it has a 302 with the e4od trans and dual tanks, the problem i am havin is the dam fuel sender, sometimes it works sometimes they dont, it does this on the front tank more than the rear does,
any suggestions

When its not working, will it stay that way long enough to do some troubleshooting?
Since it does this behavior on both tanks it sounds electrical in nature to me. I'd start with the tank selector switch and the fuel relay. They're both cheap enough to outright replace if it wont act up long enough to test 'em. for the relay, just give it whack when its acting up and if that fixes it then replace it.
