Engine Light
Hello, The check engine light on my 88 F150 351W comes on and blinks just before it reaches O/Temp. and while accelerating. Any ideas? The O2 sensor is new and the engine runs great.

You can get it tested at the dealer for $50 and they will tell you what is wrong. Or you can guess what is wrong and replace one sensor or another (I suggest the EGR valve, but its just a guess). Or you can buy a tester for $50 and read the codes yourself whenever you want. I got my tester through JC Whitney (although I wouldn't recommend buying anything performace related from them, they sell cheap stuff).

I have the same problem with my -89 F150. I have checked the code = 32 wich is EGR related. I have not done anything further. It is possible to read the fault codes with the check Enginelamp. The procedure is discrebed in many books. I have also seen it on the web but lost the adress,
