My new B2

Well, I bit the bullet and bought a toy. Not the best time to do it as we're building a house right now, but the oportunity arose and I jumped on it. My Dad decided to sell his '87 B2 because he wanted more doors and an automatic (He got a '95 Explorer EB) and decided to make me a good deal on his Bronco.

I traded my full size Bronco for my F250 last year, I don't regret doing that as I love my truck, but it's too big to go to some of my favorite places to go (and with it's 460 takes too much gas to go some of the places I want to go)

So my new ride is an '87 B2 EB 4x4 with 2.9l V6, 5sp manual, manual hubs/t-case, bone stock including the little 215/75-15s. There should be a photo in my gallery if I did that right.

Dad got right at 19-20 mpg with it, which I like. I took my wife and daughter up into the hills today (over the Cascades) super light duty off roading, but tons of fun. Put about 200 miles on it today, I found it to be a lot more comfortable than I thought it would be, I've only had F-series trucks in the past. It does have the 3.45 gears, so it's really long legged, but the 4low works just fine for creeping through the rougher stuff.

Anyway, sorry for the long post, I'm just happy with the new toy!
