More power same mileage?
I have a 79 Bronco 400cid, C6, 4.11,and 33" tires. The 11mpg doesn't bother me that much but this thing is a dog power wise. I've had 6 cylinders that would out perform this thing and get better mileage doing it. Do you think it's posible to sqeeze out a little more power, and at least not lose any mileage. Can anyone reccomend a cam with good low end torque strong mid range smooth idle and economy. I've got an Edelbrock 400 performer intake but no carb as of yet. Is anyone using a Holley Truck Avenger carb? I've added daul exhaust with glass packs that seems to have only robbed some of my low end so I'm going back to single with larger plumbing and a Full Boar muffler.
