bigger tires

I have a 04 SCREW 4x2 thinking about putting on a leveling kit and bigger tires just wondering what I would have to do about the speedometer. Will it need to be adjusted or what. Also would this effect the MPG or what.

I will be raising front end. I will be keeping the stock 17" rims. I'm in Afghanistan right now and plan on doing this when I get back to the states in about a month.

good deal . I assume since you are i Afghanistan then you are military . so let me start with a good job and be careful . Ex NAVY here. there are several different companies that make the leveling kits for these trucks most of the guys on here say that with the 2 in lift you can put a 305/70/17 on there(I think thats the right size) same size that comes on the H2's matter of fact read where one guy bought his tires from the hummer dealership for somethin like 100 bucks each, do a search on here and yo will find quite a few threads where ppl are talking about the various leveling kits and there exp with them

next question is I pull my boat a lot. Boat is quite heavy but with not much tongue weight at all. right now the truck pulls the boat very well with the bigger tires and the front lift will it effect my towing at all and also will the back sag lower then the front when towing, and how about the speedometer will it need to be adjusted.

Thanks for all the support for us guys over here it is appreciated.
