Battery Cables

I need new battery cables for my truck. I saw some Duralast ones at Autozone. Would these be a good choice? Also, what gauge cables should I get?

The 4 ga cables I bought at Autozone were black for both positive and negative; you got stickers to mark the ends. I got over that; but the insulation is starting to shrink away from the battery post connectors and can be easily peeled back; they are 4 months old. I had gotten better ones from Advance Auto for another truck.

I got the two guage with the clear insullation covering from the local, dreaded, Wal-Mart. Good size, looks good with the visible copper wire inside the insullation (makes seeing that sneaky corosion easy), comes pre-terminated in various lengths, and the price ain't bad.
