Guys,
I have a '03 5.4 FX4 with only 15,000 miles on it. I have noticed some steering feedback through the steering wheel. It kinda feels like there is something loose. The column feels tight and I do have a steering stabilizer. I have stock tires on the truck also. I know a FX4 has a stiffer suspension. Is this what I am feeling or is this not normal?
What do you mean exactly by steering feedback? My '05 is going in to the shop because it suddenly developed sloppy steering, I have about 2" of steering wheel play and I haven't hit anything or taken it off-road. Based on another thread here I believe it may be the steering stabilizer.
