Stop the Madness!!!!

If I see another Desktop Dyno, or Engine on Paper I'm gonna scream.
You Chumps need to build some motors, put them in a truck and get your backside down to the Dyno and post some real numbers.

geeez

Sorry, night 4 0f 4. It's the first long week I've worked since being back on nights.

You're right. I need to get off my **** and down to the track and / or dyno. I wish I'd put the thing on an engine dyno before I installed it.

Maybe the next project...

I'd love to have an engine dyno. But that's not an easy process. First you have to find one, then you have to haul your motor there, plumb it up with all the necessary goodies.

But, I'll gladly settle for some more track times and rear wheel dyno numbers :-)

I will get mine Dyno'd again, once it's seems to be running smooth. I hope to see 400 RWHP, I'd be quite happy with that. Before the last tear-down it definitely felt more powerful than it did when it posted 360 RWHP.

You can be sure, that before I run down to the dyno I'll put in premium and bump the timing up a little. With the heated O2 sensor used with my fuel injection system, that means no leaded race gas.

I use the butt-meter, if im happy with the accerlation, then good, if not, then time for more mods. Really I could care less what power it has, all I know is it burns the rubber in all 4 gears (chirps it in 4th), and is the most powerful truck Ive ever driven. Thats what counts.

I have the back Bumper off mine..The spare tire is gone..the tire rack..the 40 gallon back tank..the 25 gallon center tank...Those big 50lb CHP push bars on the front..the stock push bars..

Now..I'am working on taking all the Helwig helper springs out of the back end..Hell I must have have and extra 200lbs in Leaf springs in the back..when I had the Big Overhead on it!!

Oh Also wanted to ask you....If you lowered your back end..would your slicks still clear and tuck under the well tubs??
