Air in P/S system

What is the best way to eliminate air from the power steering system? I just replaced the pump and it's very loud!
Thanks

Air in P/S system

The first thing to try is to take the wheel from lock to lock several times slow, don't crank it as fast as you can as this mixes the air back in. If this method doesn't work, the only other way I know of is to power bleed the system, push fluid in under pressure and take the air out that way. Usually the first method works, may have to do this several times as more air works out of the system. Good luck, Chuck P.

I tried the lock to lock, and it's still noisy! Its not only noise, but a strong vibration that I can feel through the steering wheel. Is this reman. pump no good? Or is something else wrong? Thanks for the help!

Put your front up on stands then remove your coil wire and try the lock to lock again. The pump spins to fast with the engine running to bleed. Just be careful not to burn up your starter. Good luck
