Camper special
I have just joined and would like to know if anyone can tell me anything about my truck,as far as production #s, rarity, etc.What I have is a 77 F250 camper special Ranger 4x4.I don't know about how it was originally but now it has dual batteries and sway bars on both ends.It does not have the original 400,as far as I can tell from the casting #'s cv9e-b and cv9e-a it is a 69 429 thunderjet.It also has a c6.Runs real srong with the factory 4.10 gears.Any info is appreciated!

A quick search of Camper Special will yield numerous threads until someone shows up to answer this.
Production numbers of certain optioned trucks are hard to come by.
That 429/460 is a great runner & just loves 98 octane fuel.

I could not figure out the second battery/ solenoid set up as the wiring harness to the trailer lights or whatever is in pieces.I would challenge ANY chevy fan to compare a stock chevy with my factory set up w/ dana 60/44 31 spline full floaters(to the best of my knowledge)4.10/np205/big block!Again I was mostly interested to know about rarity as I have not seen many of these.It is a camper special (has the badges) ranger 2 tone paint w/ moldings,no A/C.
