kickdown problem
I have a motorhome with a 460 carb and a C6 tranny.
Last weekend when I climbed a hill and the kickdown went on, engine began to have miss when it rpms at about 4000 on the kickdown.
Results were a intermittant power lost when climbing a hill.
As soon as the kickdown went off, rpm went stable and engine didn't miss after.
It maked the problem each time the kickdown went ON.
I don't know if it's an engine or tranny problem.
If you could give some clues that will be appreciated.

This could be alot of things ! fuel delivery,plugs,cap, rotor,wires or general overall engine health,(compression,mileage).vacum leaks can cause simalar problems with the old 460.
Your best bet is to get a good tuneup on the old girl!
Motorhomes sit alot corosion on the cap is common.
you could get a load test done on it somewhere but start with a top notch tune up first.
