Question 02/smog pump

i have a 84 f 150 4x4 4.9 6 cyl. motor 4 spd trans. in it. i got it about 9 mo ago. the smog pump was removed by a past owner along with the cat converter and on the o2 senser no wires going to it. i found the wires that should go to the o2 with out any conector on them. i think a past owner thought he might get better milage that way.i dont think so. this truck uses a lot of gas. to the point i'm thinking of selling it. i haven't took actual gas milage but i think it's around 13 to 14 highway. i think it should do a bit better than that. oh forgot 3.07 gears acording to the axle tags.
have any thoughts about this ?
what kind of plug should i use to rehook the o2 back up ?

go down the the parts store and get an 02 sensor for your truck, cut the connector off it and splice the o2 sensor and factory wiring together.
go to partsamerica.com, type 12909 in the search bar and click on bosch, that is the stock o2 sensor and how the connector looks like.
