AC unit bypass

how much of a difference will it make if i bypassed and uninstalled my AC unit?
I've got a 1990 F250 w/stock 460 and a sliverado to race

Well, you'll save about 80lbs in the front of the truck between the compressor and the variety of crap that is attached to it.

Though, power-wise, if you don't push the "AC" button, it draws nothing so I'd leave it for non-racing purposes.

i race this thing on the streets. Would running a shorter belt increase the power at least by a little?

No.

The AC does NOT use noticeable...even at full throttle, the wide open throttle relay (appropriately named I suppose) cuts the compressor of for that purpose.
