You can turn up 6.9 and 7.3 pumps but use a pyro with any pump turned up or you could quickly toast your engine......

I remember this setup, the propane setup is kind of neat. Thanks for the link, I have actually been looking for it. The 7.3 pumps I have are as said, one is a stock rebuild and the other was tuned up by the previous owner of the '90 Ford I have sitting out back.

When we tried this a couple years ago, we couldn't make it run right. It would throw lots of dark smoke. When we tried turning it down it just lost power. Finally had to pull it and put a 6.9 pump back on. Hope you have better luck if you try it.

That just verified what one guy told me at the shop where the rebuilt one was done. (not the guy that we normally deal with) he said there might be differences in the internal pump timing, but do you think I could ever get ahold of the guy that actually knew what the diff would be? LOL.
