My 1988 F150 302V8/AOD cruise control doesn't work. I've checked fuse - ok, vacuum lines - ok, and connection of stearing wheel to blinker switch harness - ok. Basically the cruise doesn't work at all, it just doesn't come on.
Does anyone have any ideas of where I should go from here?
This has been an invaluable newsgroup for me and my F150 - I appreciate peoples responses and all of the tips I've picked up out of the archives.
You need to ohm out your switches on the your steering wheel..,to do that you must isolate the
switches, disconnect any connections to the switches, place ohm leads to one leg and the other
lead to the other leg, toggle switch and you should read 0 ohms when you close the switch and
infinite when you open the switch.
good luck
