Continental TR Uncapped
I have 6700 miles on my 2005 F-350 and the drivers side front tire uncapped on my way home tonight. The tire looks like a semi tire that was recapped. I stopped and picked up what was left and there was hardly any wear on the tread. I take very good care of my truck and check the inflation every week. After further inspection tonight it looks like one of the rear tires is bad too. You know you pay good money for these trucks and they use garbage for tires. I talked to my dealer and they said they would replace both tires. I wish they could replace all 4 with a different brand. Has anyone else had this problem? What does your rear tire that you say looks bad also...what is it that looks bad? I have Conti TR's on my 05 F350 and I'm constantly checking my tires also. There was nothing to tip you off before this happened to your front tire? Again, what looks suspicious on your rear tire?
