what octane do I need for 10.5:1 comressoin with a 204/216 d cam?

I have a 1967 302 4v. I will be running a 202/216 duturation cam with .456/.484" valve lift, 112 lobe seperation angle. Premium around here is 91 octane, I think I will need octane buster, $10 for 20 gallons, I do not mind buying it.
What octane do you guys think I need?

thanks...

What ever it'll run on with out pinging.............I'm guessing 91 at a minimum.

If you know this, I apologize: Running higher octane than needed will not increase performance.

stock iron 4v heads, it does not run, I will rebuild it. My uncle says that I should put in dished pistons to get a 9:1 comprression on premium will run good. I will shoot for over 200 hp at 2500 rpm, 280 + at 4000 rpm and do not care what it makes after that , I will run cast pistons.

With iron heads your going to have to run pretty conservative timing on 91 octane(probally 8-10 initial).I'd listen to your uncle it would be easier to tune and run on 87.Your hp goals should be pretty easy to attain with the 9-1 compression.

thanks, I will probably run 9:1 compression , then If I want ot run 91 it may run better than 89 which I would actually be able to run, I would have a choice to run lower octane if I wanted to.
