seat swaps
I read a while back a thread that said the bench seats out of the late 80's early ninties's f150's were a direct swap for the 67 f100 ( I have tried searching for this thread but can't find it.) it's been a while since I have read it so I cant remember the particulars. Anybody done this? or know if it can be done?

I put a nice mid-80's bench on the sliders in my 65... There was one difference to note for my application. The old tracks have the nut attached to them, the newer seat had the nut attached to the seat frame. I actually drilled out the nut on the front of the seat track and the nut on the back of the seat frame. This allowed my to bolt from the bottom up on the front and the top down in the back. When you put it on the truck and try the logistics of bolting/unbolting the seat, it works great.
