Delete Sliding Rear Window

Is it possible to delete the sliding rear window on the F 250 Lariat? Bottom line is that I want the leather interior with the fixed glass.

Thanks.

No. One question: do you have full glass coverage on your insurance ($0 deductible)? We do here in NY, there's no charge to you if they have to replace a "broken" window. I think you can figure out what to do from here.

But it would be wrong! LOL What would your body shop charge to change it out on the legit?

Why do you have it in for sliding windows?

I am going to letter the window and 1 panel of glass gives me more options.

I never suggested that anyone do something illegitimate. But if the rear window WERE to be broken, then that would be the time to say to the glass company, "you know what? Just put a regular window in there, as I really don't need a slider."

I would think your selling dealer would swap it for you. It is easy to do and they could probably find someone who would be happy to trade you a fixed for your slider.

if you have a power moonroof, the open rear windows makes a world of difference... with it closed and the moon roof open it gets really loud in the cab from wind buffetting and noise....

with it open while the moonroof is open there is more wind but much less of a buffeting wind noise... as the wind flows through the cab and out the back window.......

I didn't want a slider either; however, I did want privacy glass, which required the slide option. Can you get the regular window as privacy from the parts dept?

I've never seen a solid rear window from Ford in privacy glass. BUT- it's just a flat piece of glass. This has got to be the easiest window to apply tinting film to. I mean, if I can do it.....

Just for giggles- price that piece of glass through the parts department. It'll blow your mind (don't forget to add for seals and labor to install the danged thing).
