I have'nt noticed any change on my truck either. In fact, I usually do not feel the compressor come on like on a gasser. I only hear the clutch clicking on.
Correct me if I am wrong but I beleve the compressor is always running on the 6.0. i noticed it when I opened the hood of my truck while I was running my heater this winter. I found it kind of odd so I went to the dealer to ask them why my A/C compressor was always clicking on and off when weather I used the A/C or not. they told me that it was purposely set that way so all of the condinsation would be collected which would help with fogging of the wndows. I personally do not think it helped much but I could be wrong. Check it out for yourself, start up your truck and do not run the A/C. Let me know if I am wrong so I can tell the dealer he was wrong.
I heard the same thing, A/C kicks on and off as the computer determines a need for it. Tech showed me on the monitor when I brought it in for what I thought was a missing engine. The "miss" was the feeling of the A/C clutch kicking on. Since it was winter and I wasn't using A/C that never even ocurred to me.
