Money and then try some more Money, right after that installation go for more money...
You will need a bit more money after that.

Before you finish you will need a LOT of money.
Sure happy I could solve this problem.

Also, read a great deal of other's experiences with various products. Then, be prepared to spend more money (way more) to fix what can break. Many of these trucks are not holding up well to large power increases - head studs are not providing enough clamping pressure and gaskets blowing out; the gaskets need some improvement themselves I've heard.

you dont need 600 hp to smoke a camaro.

probably the best compromise between power and safety would be a Edge Module with Attitude in cab controlled with a SCMT tranny tune and a turbo back exhaust to keep down EGT's.

not much of anything running the streets would outrun you.

if you wanted more there is always propane injection, injectors, turbo, water/methanol injection, and nitrous. but as you get farther up in power you are going to need upgraded drivetrain parts to handle all the power.

the first one i listed would probably be best.

step one: pull the 6.0 out
step two: find and build a DT466E from a bigger international truck
step 3: somehow shoehorn that beast under ur hood and mate an allison tranny to it
step 4: have fun fillin it up with 2.50/gal fuel!! and rebuilding it and replacing turbos every 200 hrs

if u want to go fast buy a car................. and "deisel" is spelled... diesel.... "i" before "e" except after "c".... its a pet-peve of mine...

For about the money you would need to make a psd go 0-60 in 5.9 seconds (more than once), you could buy a gt40, drive around with it in the back of your truck... with really cool winch to lower it onto the ground. That way if you get shown up at a light, you could pull up next to him at the next light... wink at him and drive circles around him.

I went to a Dyno Day at BD Diesel Performance here in Abbotsford, British Columbia a few weeks ago. There were only a few slightly modified Fords, and alot of Dodges.

You shoulda seen some of these old pot-bellied guys pullin up in their beat-up Dodge cummins farm trucks. They were crankin out 400+ hp. One guy from Oregon had a newer Dodge cummins that did 574hp on the dyno.

BUT, for some of these guys to get that kind of power, they had twin turbos, injectors, modified trannies, and a whole lot more besides that.

You want up to 600 hp :, ya better be prepared to lay out some serious coin!

And on top of that, you better be highly mechanically inclined, otherwise in the future, you could end up havin some serious service bills to contend with, when one of them fancy parts breaks down.

It's yer money, but for me, I'd rather buy a new fishin rod, and find a nice quiet lake full of fish.

Now that's livin!
