flat screen

just got a 17" flat screen, can't says I really like it. I have to wear weaker glass to look at the screen , but then can't read the keys, is it just me, some say there the greatest, I think I like my old style monitor better, maybe just not use to it

Haha a 17"? Lol just kidding.. It should be a lot easier to read due to your old monitor usually blurs stuff a little. But you can change colors, font sizes, resolution, and the list goes on and on. Are you near or far sighted? And which is which? Is far sighted where you see things better from a distance? If so you might want to set your resolution to 1024x768 or around there. If you're near sighted I think you would do better with 800x600.

We have the flatscreeen LCD monitors at work and at an angle they are shady, you may evenhave to adjust the angle of your monitor. Or move it further away from where you are sitting.

I bought myself a touch typing book, haven't had to look at the keys in over 10 years. There are several typong tooter probgams out there too. I liked Mavis Beacon.
