Vin and Product Code, Please help.
I looked at the decoder in the trans and axle articals, but it was not very helpful. I have an axle code of 12, which it shows as a Ford axle with a 2.73 ratio, but lists it for a 1991 truck. My truck is an 87.
My trans code is "k", which I think is a C6, but the "k" code is not even listed for a 87 and up truck.
If I keep the truck as a driver I will buy a manule, but for now would someone mind looking up the codes for a '87?
My type is "F151"; my body is "BD4"; Trans is "k"; axle is "12"; and springs are "v" and "h".
The Vin is 1FTCF15Y2HPA64754.
Thanks for the help - and please post a link if there is a reliable code reader on the net ----

If it had been that easy I would not be bothering the good people of this board -
The Vin is 1FTCF15Y2HPA64754.
axle code "12" = 2.73, no ls
front springs v = 5310 spring
rear springs h = 5560 spring
