79' 351 to 86

I have a 79 F-250 2wheel with a 351m, Trying to put it in an 86 2wheel that had a 460 in it... Do the towers from the 79 bolt into the 86?? If i have to drill holes for them, how do i know where to set the towers?? Will i be running into anymore problems?? Thanks for any info

try bolting the towers that are suposed to go in the 351m and set it down in there and see what it looks like.

79 & 86 towers are different, get a set of 80-96 5.0 or 5.8 towers, then your 351m will drop right in. See the thread below about engine towers.
