5 speed tranny?

I have a 66 FWD with a 390. Was woundering if any one had attempted to put a 5 speed manual in there truck. If so what all has to be changed?

No personal experience but if you plan on going this route, you need a pretty stout trans as the torque numbers your 390 are putting down are quite respectable. May I also suggest you pose this question to the guys in the "FE" forum a little further down the forum list.
