brake conversion
Okay, is it possible to convert from stock rear drum brake
set up to a disc brake set up on a 89' f250 xlt lariat extcab?
and best quess what the $$$$ might be?

I don't know of any "kits",you could use complete rear out of a 87-91 F-super-duty,or a 98-up 250-350 but either way you'll have a problem with wheels.The 87-91 are 10 lug,and the 98-up are a different bolt pattern.

I don't keep up on what the newer era trucks have but is that by any chance a Dana 60 rear end? If so the disc brake conversions are very easy. I'd recommend contacting Blackbirds's Custom trucks (www.blackbirdscustomtrucks.com) here in Spokane. They can set you up with a complete kit for around $400. I have their kit for the D70 axle.
