Having recently bought a SCT9100 for my 03 3.0L Ranger and running the 93 octane program,I notice something odd.First it was just seat of the pants guessing but tried to confime it at a track last night.
Seems I can cut my 1/8 miles run times by not running the truck at WOT.Rigged a stop to limit it to about 3/4 open and cut my time by 1/4 second. My question is..has anyone tried to change the programing in their tunner ?I am not an engineer but think it can be done. SCT has the program to do it on their site but will need the to get the program from the tuner first to then change it's settings.Any ideas?
You can purchase the PC interface cable with the Xtreme software, along with versions of your tunes for the Xtreme software from Motorhaven at 770-736-7122. How many times did you test the speed difference?
