The latest flash

Here are the results with the latest flash that I have noticed.
The t/h mode is really soft and it will only downshift twice.
One around 50 mph and the second time around 35 mph.
Fuel mileage is improved:
529 miles and used 27.9 gallons. 324 highway miles
205 city miles= 18.96 mpg.
This is the best mpg I have ever had combined driving.
Acceloration is improved, mpg is improved, t/h is wimpy.
If FMC could put the original programming back in the tranny
and keep the engine programming like it is now, we would have
a winning combo. I have no smoke at cold or hot start up,there
is no coolant puking and the engine really idles smooth.
How about if FMC? Will you put the original programming back in
the tranny and leave the engine alone, or is this too much to ask?

I have found the latest flash on my 03 to be about the same as eharmon except the tow/haul mode... Mine downshifts at slightly higher than indicated speeds and is most similar to when it was new in Feb 03 (although the 2-1 isn't there).
Overall quite pleased with the new flash: Reset the overhead LOM and did a 110 mile roadtrip and the LOM was reading 23.1 avg mpg

Flash # is 4U7A-BFE-12A650

Had mine done last week...although the mileage went up a bit and it seemes a bit quieter, I don't like it...the shifting is too soft and it seems like theres more turbo lag...also seems to down shift more often...

The mone/drone I had got 4X as bad after the flash...they then put the new turbo pedestal on and it now sounds like the noise is comming from a closet...still there but muffled...

And, Blackstone just called...6% diesel in the oil...injectors!...

04 with 6800mi...
