I got stuck in the mud today. Not a problem if I had 4wheel drive, but alas I don't. So... what I'm wondering about is this. While trying to get myself out, I noticed my driver-side, rear wheel was "not" spinning, however my right one was. Should I be concerned, or is this normal? I really don't know anything about the rear end on my truck and seeing this kind of had me worried that I might have broken something, especially since at first look, my passenger-side, rear tire was the one that was buried, whereas my driver-side rear tire was on top of some ice and snow. Any suggestions or opinions would be appreciated, sooner the better, especially since I have to drive home on Friday for Spring break. Thanks

Ok, that takes a load of my shoulders. Thanks. However, since it was nice today, decided to just poke my head underneath in the parking lot and saw that my tailpipe, which has been rusting apart just behind the rear axle, is now caked with mud. Granted, this kind of seals the rust hole... it is creating issues keeping the engine running. I took it out for a drive and I have to hammer on it to keep it running. After it's warmed up a bit, it will idle, but looking at the tailpipe, hardly anything is coming out of the pipe. Depending on how much time I have between classes before I have to head home for spring break is going to determine if I can clear it enough to get home or if I just take a hacksaw and cut the tail pipe clean off behind the muffler. Any suggestions? Thanks again.
