Need Ford Info
I have a 86f250 and 90f150. Just recently bought both, never had fords before. Can anyone tell me where I can get info on the identification of different axles,transmissions, and t-cases and their gearing?
The 90 was a 4sp auto, didn`t have tranny when bought. Was thinking of putting a c-6 in it. Anyone know how to go about this and what kind of changes if any I will need to do?

You didn't mention whether either truck was 2wd or 4wd. I'm taking an educated guess here-
'86 F-250
rear- either semi-float or full-float 10.25
front- if 4wd, Dana 44HD TTB(light duty) or Dana 50 TTB(heavy duty)
'90 F-150
rear- 8.8
front- if 4wd, Dana 44 TTB
