engine trouble

I have a 1990 ford bronco, 5.8l, 3.55 and an e40d. My problem is that the engine runs sluggish when its warmed up. I press the gas and the engine revs up, but the car doesn't seem to respond and not move like it should. It only does it when the car is warmed up, it runs fine when its cold. I can squeel the tires in the morning, but can't when the engine is up to operating temp. My mom wants me to get rid of the car, but i want to be able to keep it. Any help will be appreciated!

I'm not positive about this, but there are at least a few things that could be happening. First thought is some sort of vacuum problem; possibly there are some mis-routed lines. Most engines use thermal switches which will rerout vacuum sources when warmed up. Have you checked the timing on the engine; a mis-routed line could effect it. Could be running lean, also. From it being a 90 model, there are probably some sensors underhood that also could have gone bad.
